On that note, there are a ton of mods for Conan that greatly add to the game and can resolve some quality of life issues. Conan has a great building system, especially with mods. Gameplay-wise, they're certainly comparable.

Conan recently got a big update introducing sorcery, so I'm back adding to that playtime total. Most people have complaints about public or official servers and the lack of enforcement with hackers. Mostly solo, some on private servers with friends, or communities I found on reddit/discord. I had over 1k hrs in Conan before picking up Valheim. That's why you'll never hear me complain about the developers. Far more stable than the much older games. It made me appreciate just how solid Valheim is. That game was even cooler with dinosaur breeding and everything but soooooo buggy.

This was on my own server and was mod related. Played for a couple more months and it happened again. Then one day I logged in after a server update and my base that I had perfected was gone.
And the manufacturing was much more advanced, and I liked that. Once I got onto private servers I found it to be a lot more buggy and the building was a notch below Valheim. So no one to play with and nowhere to build.
Empty buildings everywhere and no players. Of the public servers I found it to be simultaneously over built and under populated. I liked Conan but only on private servers.

Inside, the hall has everything an explorer of the world of Valheim could want, including a table for banquets, a brewery, and a portal for teleporting across the map. Valheim is among game with deliberately empty maps, and jdhayward has clearly taken advantage of the open space here. Made of wood and sitting in an open field in the plains, it looks fit for warriors on their way to Valhalla or preparing to raid on the sea. The hall looks like something out of Nordic history, having a style that would fit any story about Vikings and Norse mythology.
